Snezhana Zheltoukhova

Originally, Snezhana Zheltoukhova is from Moscow, Russia. She received her undergraduate diploma in theoretical and applied linguistics from Moscow (Lomonosov) State University and her master's degree in Slavic Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Currently, she is a dissertator in Second Language Acquisition Program at UW-Madison. Her dissertation focuses on Russian Flagship tutoring.

Pedagogy is one of her passions and she taught Russian language and culture at Carleton College, Pomona College, MU-Columbia, IU-Bloomington, UW-Madison and Beloit College. 

Her research interests include social approaches to Second Language Acquisition, conversation analysis, classroom interactions, participant beliefs and perceptions, multilingualism and language policy; L2 Russian and English teaching methodology.
